Fundraising For The Planet In Distress TV Series: 33% Complete

Preparations continue for the production of a Planet In Distress television series.  Discussions continue with Hope Channel and I’ll be updating you on production plans as they take shape.  For now, though, I want to express a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has donated toward this goal.  Seriously – Thank You.   Planet In Distress is trying to raise $10,000 to provide a small match for the very, very tight Hope Channel budget.  And, if the Hope Channel effort somehow falls through, the money will be used to produce a series in cooperation with another supporting ministry.

A TV series is important.  It can reach a large number of people.  For some people with a non-Christian perspective, the Planet In Distress message provides a context for viewing Bible prophecy through current events and science.  It is an approach  that works where others fail.  For some in the Christian world, the Planet In Distress message serves as a serious wake-up call, and provides a context for gauging the lateness of the hour.  Here is a relevant quote:

“The restraining Spirit of God is even now being withdrawn from the world. Hurricanes, storms, tempests, fire and flood, disasters by sea and land, follow each other in quick succession. Science seeks to explain all these. The signs thickening around us, telling of the near approach of the Son of God, are attributed to any other than the true cause. Men cannot discern the sentinel angels restraining the four winds that they shall not blow until the servants of God are sealed; but when God shall bid His angels loose the winds, there will be such a scene of strife as no pen can picture.” {6T 408.1}

The hour is late and I feel that the time has come to proclaim the Planet In Distress message as widely as possible.  So far, $3300 of the $10,000 goal has been raised.  If you would like to help with this effort, your support is welcome.  Donations are tax deductible.  Please make out your checks to the Northern New England Conference (which has “adopted” the ministry) and mail them to the  conference at 479 Main Street, Westbrook, Maine 04092.   Please mark your check “For Planet in Distress”.

Thank you and Praise The Lord for this progress!
